Abstract

O presente texto busca avaliar criticamente como novas propostas filosóficas,
especificamente aquelas oriundas dos pragmatistas americanos Robert Brandom
e de John McDowell se alimentam da filosofia hegeliana e, assim, a atualizam e,
ao mesmo tempo, põem em cheque muitas dessas concepções hegelianas
atualizadas. Pretende-se demonstrar que muito do que esses autores imputam a
Hegel na verdade não é hegeliano, mas leituras filosóficas próprias e às vezes,
até contrárias à letra hegeliana.
