Literatura e religião na poética de Fernando Pessoa

Fernando Pessoa traz subjacente à sua produção poética uma discussão sobre religiosidade. Declarava-se um cristão gnóstico, entretanto, existem indícios de seu afinamento com outras concepções religiosas, apesar de não se alinhar a nenhuma doutrina estabelecida. Sua fé pessoal inquieta e multiforme manifestava-se através dos vários heterônimos com os quais contava a história da sua pátria e a sua própria. Este trabalho discutirá as representações religiosas presentes na obra poética de Fernando Pessoa, que demonstra similitudes e contradições da sua concepção de sagrado e compreensão dos fenômenos que o circundava. E, a partir desta, valendo-se de instrumentos teóricos, possibilitar uma compreensão dos intensos fluxos entre fronteiras religiosas, delineando novas possibilidades de espiritualidades que sobrepujem as estruturas religiosas institucionais.
